Apparel 31 is a UK based company with origins threading back to the heart of Dhaka. We are proud of our Bangladeshi roots and its well known history of textiles is long established dating back centuries to the Mughal Empire, when Dhaka was the worldwide hub for the silk and cotton trade.
This rich history hassince continued with the rapid expansion and globalization of the Bangladeshi textile industry. Apparel 31 is now part of that heritage and is pushing ahead, supplying companies in the UK, the EU and reaching out to the USA, Australia and other world markets.

Our founder, CEO/Chair/Managing director Aman Rahman, had two things in mind when he set up Apparel-31. Opening up his many connections in Bangladesh to growing UK companies while at the same time helping the many 1000s of workers in the textile industry. He figured that him being a Bangladeshi born UK businessman makes him ideally placed to get the best deals for his UK customers while seeing that work is placed with companies that not only produce top quality work but also maintain high standards of employee welfare.
